Cyclones & Multicyclones

Industrial cyclones are an efficient and cost-effective solution for the preliminary removal of particles from an air stream. They are used to effectively remove (>90%) and at low cost the larger particles (<20μm) which would increase the load on a downstream baghouse filter and reduce the service life of the filter bags. In addition, the use of an industrial cyclone is often necessary in installations where cooling of exhaust gases is required or there are incandescent particles in the exhaust gases, to protect the baghouse filter placed further along the filtration line.
